Staying true: for NeuroQueers

Come back to yourself

Advocate for your needs

Call in communal care

As Neuroqueers, it’s not uncommon to feel disconnected, overwhelmed, and under pressure, especially with everything going on in the world! We have felt this too, and we want to share our strategies for building resiliency, individually and in community.

Staying True is a 3 week virtual course where we will explore ways to stay aligned with yourself and your values, set boundaries with yourself and others, and tap into community support and care. We will offer a combination of guided activities, discussion, and education, with opportunities for individual and community support throughout the series.

We will cover:

WEEK 1 - Practices for coming back to yourself

  • Exploring core values and identity, somatic/nervous system re-centering and resiliency, and creating a system of supportive practices for daily life.

WEEK 2 - Boundaries and self advocacy

  • Somatic, energetic, and practical ways to identify, set and maintain boundaries in relationships.

WEEK 3 - Calling in communal care

  • Identify strategies to find, build, and maintain community. Brainstorm solutions for common challenges together.
